Computer Science Summer Camps and Teacher Workshops
Coming to SFA Summer 2011
The Computer Science Summer Workshop Program is designed to provide K-12 educators the opportunity to enhance their technology skills. The 2011 Workshop Program includes a variety of basic computing topics -- spreadsheets and presentations -- plus topics in searching the web and working with smart board. Hands-on activities are designed to enhance the workshop experience and educators will leave the workshop with skills and ideas to enhance their classroom experience. Each session is limited to 25 participants. The program fees cover a participant's lunch, insurance, project materials and activities.
The Computer Science Summer Camp Program is designed to provide students with a broad exposure to the variety of computing topics through the use of robotics and virtual worlds. Hands-on activities are designed to supplement the classroom activities. Each session is limited to 20 students. The program fees cover a participant's lunches, insurance, project materials and activities.
