• The Finance Club honored professor Bert Stine at their annual Awards Banquet this past April for outstanding teaching in 2007-2008.

• Dr. Mark Scanlan, Assistant Professor of Economics, received the 2008 Teaching Excellence Award for the Department of Economics and Finance and the College of Business.

• We have welcomed a new assistant professor of finance to our department this fall:

                                                      

  Dr. Emiliano Giudici (Ph.D., University of Texas - Pan American), who has just completed his graduate studies.  Dr. Giudici's research interests include Investments, Market Microstructure, and Frequency Domain Econometrics
