Catalog Description: - Introduction to human resource management; employment, placement, and human resource planning; training and development; compensation and benefits; employee and labor relations; health, safety, and security; human resource research.

Prerequisite: Junior standing

Course Objective: To increase student knowledge of theories and practices dealing with factors in people and in the work environment which influence people and problems.

Current Textbook: No textbook required. Assigned readings in class.

Evaluation: Student performance will be measured through multiple choice and/or short answer exams and in-class or case assignments. Other types of evaluation may be employed at the discretion of the professor.
