Catalog Description: Preparation Job Search; interviewing techniques; development of resumes and letters of application; career planning.  Assist Junior and Senior students in their career search and placement

Prerequisites: Junior standing

Course Objectives: Upon completion, the student should be able to:

• prepare a professional resume for use in job search
• prepare a professional cover letter for use in job search
• give a professional interview with their new interviewing skills

Current Textbook: Bolles. What Color is Your Parachute? 2009. Ten Speed Press.

Evaluation: Student performance will be measured through the quality of the resume and cover letter, the completion of a placement file, and attendance at Career Placement Center and Career Fair.
