Principles of Macroeconomics ECO231 (syllabus, Text will be Parkin and Bade; Foundations of Economics, 4th Ed. )

An introduction to the behavioral science of economics which focuses on the aggregate behavior of households, firms and the government. Topics covered include gross domestic product, national income, economic growth, unemployment, inflation, the business cycle, fiscal policy and monetary policy, and international trade.

International Economics ECO480 (syllabus, Text will be Krugman & Obstfeld; International Economics:  Theory and Policy, 8th Ed. )

International trade theory, tariff and non-tariff barriers to trade, and international transactions statement analysis; foreign exchange analysis, direct investment, and current issues and events.

Prerequisites: ECO 231, 232.
